Frequently asked questions
The questions our customers ask most often.
Why aren’t all customers charged the same fee?
Our fee depends mainly on:
- the quantity and type of waste collected
- the number of family members
- the size of the house (number of flats)
Why wasn’t my waste collected on the scheduled day?
Collection can be delayed mainly by:
- obstacles at the landfill site
- strikes and shutdowns
- road problems
When there is a problem at the landfill site, our local station fills to capacity, and we can only collect waste again once the landfill problem is solved.
Why does the fee keep increasing?
We don’t raise fees irregularly. Increases depend on two main factors:
- Changes on the customer’s side — more waste or a different type of waste, a larger family, or a bigger house (more flats).
- General conditions — usually an increase of around 20% every two years as market and fuel prices rise.
We pay a fee — why don’t you collect waste from inside our compound?
There are two main reasons:
- Entering every compound would increase time and cost for everyone, and covering that would mean charging customers an extra fee — which most would not welcome.
- Not every customer is comfortable with collection staff entering their compound regularly, so it would not be right to impose this on anyone.
That is why we do not collect waste from inside each household.
Staff who collect fees ask us to pay. Is it mandatory to pay the fee that same month?
Our only source of revenue is our customers, while the company carries ongoing costs such as staff salaries, diesel and vehicle maintenance. Paying the service fee regularly every month is therefore essential to keep the service running smoothly.
